Submission request to W3C (W3C Team Comment)
We, GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion, hereby transmit to the Consortium the following specification, comprising the following document attached hereto:
We ask that this submission request be known as EGIX.
ISO/IEC 10036 allows registration of glyphs for private or limited use. This specification provides a mechanism for XML documents to reference to such registered glyphs.
GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion hereby grant to the W3C, a perpetual, nonexclusive, royalty-free, world-wide right and license under any GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion copyrights in this contribution to copy, publish and distribute the contribution under the W3C document licenses.
Additionally, should the submission be used as a contribution towards a W3C Activity, GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion grant a right and license of the same scope to any derivative works prepared by the W3C and based on, or incorporating all or part of, the contribution. GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion further agree that any derivative works of this contribution prepared by the W3C shall be solely owned by the W3C.
GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion agree that the trade and service marks that are associated with and identify this specific submission (no such marks exist) will be governed by the W3C Trademark and Servicemark License.
I do not have personal knowledge of any IPR claims held by GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion regarding EGIX.
GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion agree that, upon adoption of this submission as a W3C Recommendation, it will grant to any party a Royalty-Free licence under applicable intellectual property rights of GLOCOM, Infoteria, and Media Fusion essential to implement and use the technology proposed in the submission.
We suggest that the Consortium post this submission as a note on the W3C Technical Reports website and also consider integration and interaction with other W3C specifications.
To help with this work, we expect to be able to provide no resources to the Consortium.
